charred poplar and porcelain

This piece explores the humor and fragility of male anatomy. The ceramic imprints symbolize testicles, referencing the biological function of temperature regulation to preserve sperm. The porcelain, with its conductive properties, disrupts this balance, mimicking the effects of a vasectomy through sudden temperature shifts. The charred wood base, shaped to evoke a scrotum, contrasts its rugged texture with the vulnerability of male anatomy. The work playfully examines masculinity, highlighting its delicate balance between strength and sensitivity.
